Let me lead you into a world of relaxation and dreams with my piano music!

The piano was my first love. I received my first piano lessons when I was five years old and studied the piano with Professor Wilhelm Rau at the Lübeck Academy of Music from the age of 12 to 19. As a teenager I won several regional and federal piano competitions and debuted as a soloist with the orchestra of the European Youth Music Festival in Luxembourg where we performed Ludwig van Beethoven’s piano concert No. 3 opus 37.

I have gained more experience as a solo performer as well as in chamber music and instrumental and vocal accompaniment in Germany and the UK. In 2018, I recorded pieces by Frédéric Chopin at Air-Edel Recording Studios in London that I would like to share with you here.

Following the passing of my friend and audio engineer Will Hensel in the autumn of 2018, "The Journey" came to me as an inspiration. I pressed the record button of my e-piano, started playing and this is what came out. "The Journey" is an improvisation that I played in one go exactly as you hear it. Having been trained as a classical pianist, I had never had such an experience before and would not be able to replay it.

In 2022, my first song "Footprints" was born at YP Studio Brunswik in Kiel. Julia Mohr with her increibly beautiful and strong voice as well as audio and mastering engineer Yonatan Pandelaki helped me make my dream come true! It is also dedicated to Will, dealing with another deep experience I had after his passing. You will find that the feelings of grief and bereavement turn into joy and love within the song - reflecting my personal Easter experience.
